PUNE: The cancellation of an Alliance Air flight led to pure chaos at the Pune airport as passengers were left stranded for hours. Some booked alternative flights, while others made alternative travel arrangements.  According to passengers, the Alliance Air flight was scheduled to depart from Pune at 9.30pm. Instead, the airline informed the passengers about the flight being delayed by an hour and was scheduled to depart at 10.30 pm. Passengers, who were waiting in queue for an hour, were suddenly informed by the staff that the flight had been cancelled. The airline did not arrange meals, alternative flights or accommodation for passengers. This caused inconvenience to the passengers, especially the senior travellers.  The angry passengers took to Twitter and social media to protest against the incident. The airline is yet to issue an official statement in this regard.
