Brahmastra collects ₹425 crore in 25 days

MUMBAI: Despite the boycott trend, Brahmastra has become highest grossing Bollywood film this year. The film has collected ₹425 crore in 25 days. However, considering that it was made on a very high budget, the film is not being considered a hit.

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhat are the main actors in this movie which has been directed by Ayan Mukerji. Mukerji has modelled this film on superhero films of Marvel Cinematic Universe. Brahmastra is the first film in the series.

Different figures of production cost of the film are floating around. Dharma Productions, which has produced the film, had said that the film’s budget was near ₹400 crore. This includes the money spent on VFX on the second film of the series.
