Delhi's Patiala Court summons actor Jacqueline Fernandez on September 26 in the ₹215 crore extortion case

NEW DELHI: Patiala court of Delhi has taken cognizance of the Enforcement Directorate chargesheet against Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez. And the actor was summoned on September 26. 


Earlier this month the Enforcement Directorate had filed a chargesheet against Jacqueline Fernandez in the ₹215 crore extortion case.


The ED believes she was aware that conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar was an extortionist. Statements by key witnesses and accused have revealed that Jacqueline Fernandez was continuously in touch with Sukesh over video calls. Sukesh also confessed to giving gifts to the Sri Lanka-born actor.
