PUNE: There's much to cheer about in the sporting world where Shravani Katke, Khushi Telkar, Tripti Chandwadkar, Snehal Baskar won gold in Senior, Junior and Kumar Group Women's Wushu League organised by the All Maharashtra Wushu Association. This women's Wushu league competition was held under the aegis of the Khelo India Dus Ka Dum.

In the senior category, Khushi Telkar of Pune bagged the top spot in the Other Style category while Snehal Baskar came in second. Palghar's Vidhi Kotap bagged the third position. International athlete Shravani Katke won gold in the Taijicon category. Pune's Thripti slid into the first spot non-kwon category, while Nagpur's Jaya Tekam bagged the second place. In the Single Weapon, Shravani beat Trupti to claim the top honours.  In double weapon, Snehal Baskar took home the gold, while Vidhi Kotap came in close second with a silver.

The competition was inaugurated by former corporators Ashwini Pokle, Komal Kute.  Dignitaries such as Seema Modak, Bharati Vani, Shravani Katke, Pratiksha Shinde, Sopan Katke were present at this occasion. Sachin More, Rishikesh Kashe, Yuvraj Jadhav were present at the end of the tournament. The competition was held under the tutelage of Sopan Katke.
