'Heritage Walk' to take place in the city to reignite people's interest in the historical structures from Central Pune

PUNE: The 'Heritage Walk', which was launched to introduce the old Pune and provide information about the historical structures in the central part of the city, was inaugurated on Saturday morning.


The inauguration of the Heritage Walk was done by the hands of veteran actor Dr. Mohan Agashe and PMC City Engineer Prashant Waghmare at Shaniwar Wada. On this occasion, the Head of the Road Department VG Kulkarni, the Head of Water Supply Anirudh Pavaskar, Superintendent Engineer Yuvraj Deshmukh, the Head of Heritage Department Harshada Shinde, history scholar Ajit Apte, etc. were present.


Sandeep Godbole will lead the Heritage Walk every Saturday and Sunday between 7am and 9am. Historians and scholars will participate with them.
