Pune tourist dies at Ladghar beach in Dapoli

DAPOLI: A group of youngsters from Pune had come to Ladghar beach in Dapoli taluka for tourism. However, there has been a shocking incident of death of Mayur Chikhalkar (27) of Pune, Vishramwadi, Alandi Road, Pune. 17 friends from Pune had come to Ladghar for tourism at 8am on Sunday for tourism. By 9am, they had gone for swimming in the sea. At 10am, they came out of the water and had breakfast.

Mayur Chikhalkar went into the sea alone to rinse out the sand in his clothes around 3.15pm. Rupesh Gade went to the shore to look for his friend Mayur after he did not return for a long time. He saw Mayur lying on the sand, he exhibited laboured breathingv and Rupesh immediately called all other friends there. The friend tried to squeeze Mayur's stomach and take the water out of his stomach. Then he was admitted to the hospital, and he was declared dead.
