Vikram Gokhale's health stabilizes, he will be on ventilator in next 48 hours

PUNE: The doctors at the Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital in Pune have informed fans and well-wishers of the veteran actor-director Vikram Gokhale that his health is slowly improving.

According to Shirish Yadgikar, Public Relations Officer, Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital, the national award-winner's condition is slowly improving. His eyes are slowly opening and his hands and feet are moving. While his BP and heart function are normal.

The ventilator will not be required for at least the next 48 hours.

For the unversed, Vikram Gokhale has been in critical state for the past 24 hours. The doctors are making tentative efforts. His wife Vrushali Gokhale had informed yesterday that "due to multiple organ failure nothing could be said right now."
