PUNE: On Sunday, the Kasba constituency held a by-election. On the second day after the polling, enthusiastic activists have started putting up their banners in the city, confident that their candidate will win. Even before the election commission gave the result, the workers themselves gave it. Therefore, this banner battle has started a heated discussion in the political circles of the city.
Hemant Rasane of the BJP and Ravindra Dhangekar of the Congress are competing fully. Both sides claim that they will receive the maximum number of votes from the voters and that we have the most votes. For that, the math of numbers is being presented. The workers of these candidates are also confident that their candidate will be elected. Therefore, the overly enthusiastic activists have started putting up banners in the city.
Senior leaders from both parties stated that such haste is not good in politics and that banners should be displayed only after the Election Commission has announced the results.
