PUNE: An incident has come to light in Bhimashankar wherein a bus ferrying passengers caught fire. The incident took place at Shindewadi on the Bhimashankar Road.
Apparently, a private bus carrying 29 passengers from Kalyan suddenly caught fire. While the memory of an incident of a bus catching fire in Nasik is still fresh in public memory, this episode has created quite a stir in Bhimashankar too because it is quite reminiscent of the Nasik bus on fire.
Preliminary investigation reveals that the flames on the bus spread their fiery rage in no time and was reduced to cinders.
Fortunately, the passengers were safely evacuated from the burning bus. According to the reports, there were 29 passengers on the bus when it caught fire. They were safely taken off the bus with the help of locals and police.
