PUNE: The Daund-Pune-Daund DEMU Railway administration has decided to replace Pune station with Hadapsar as the last stop beginning next Monday (6th). MP Supriya Sule has demanded to the central government that this decision be reconsidered as students, workers, employees, officers, milk businessmen, and other citizens will mainly suffer due to this decision.

She has made this demand in a letter to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav and said that it is appropriate to stop this train at Pune railway station. It is difficult to even stand in the regular trains running on the Daund-Pune-Daund route; it is so crowded. Since the DEMU will stop at Hadapsar, there will be more crowd burden on those trains.

The Daund-Pune-Daund Demu train takes one hour and forty minutes to reach Pune. If this stops, the crowd and wait time will increase. As a result, regular commuters, students, employees, small businessmen, and milk sellers may suffer a lot, so instead of changing the last station of this train to Hadapsar, it should remain Pune railway station, said MP Sule.
