PUNE: An incident has come to light wherein two days ago, a suspicious death of a girl took place at Yerawada. Later, a youth committed suicide by hanging himself because he could not bear the death of his friend.

The deceased youth has been identified as Jayesh Ramdas Mangalvedhekar (20), a resident of Kharalwadi, Pimpri. He committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence.

According to the police, the girl had gone to Yerawada to meet her friends.She had committed suicide by jumping off a building in the vicinity of Kalyaninagar in Yerawada. Her death is said to be suspicious. The concerned girl was a resident of Kharalwadi, in Pimpri. Jayesh, a friend of the girl, was also staying there due to this incident. According to reports, Jayesh and the girl who committed suicide were in a relationship. Jayesh committed suicide because he couldn't handle the shock. However, before committing suicide, Jayesh took to his Instagram account to share a photo of the deceased girl. He put up an emotional post along with this photo and ended his life.

After writing an emotional post, he hanged himself. After cutting the veins in both hands and realising there was no loss of life, he committed suicide by hanging himself. Further investigation is being conducted by the Pimpri police.
