PUNE: An incident of blatant flouting of rules has come to light wherein the officials of the Dhankawadi Sahakar Nagar Regional Office  have turned their office space into a liquor den.  Encroachment Inspector Sanjay Kumbhar Ramdas Lashkare has been found enjoying alcohol here.

The CCTV cameras at Dhankawadi Sahakar Nagar Zonal Office were removed since the past four years. Despite repeated demands, these cameras still haven't been installed considering it is a deterrent for officials to drink on duty or commit corruption. However, their deeds have been exposed by social activist Santosh Sathe, who has demanded immediate action of suspension against the concerned officer and warned that if the authorities do not take stringent action against the erring officials, a vociferous protest will be launched.
