Enforcement Directorate conducts raids on prominent construction tycoon in Pune, ED is specifically looking into the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana scam in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar

PUNE: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Friday raided a large real estate business with an office in Pune's Kalyani Nagar area along with some contractors. Along with the office of the real estate company, a construction site at Mohammadwadi was also raided as well as various documents were seized.



The ED team had entered Pune on Friday.  The raid was conducted at five different places. It was said that the businessman is being investigated for financial malpractices in the Prime Minister Awas Yojana in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar. He was being thoroughly interrogated till evening. Inspection was also carried out on housing projects located in Yerawada, Kalyani Nagar, NIBM Road and Wanowrie.
