Social activist warns of protest if action is not taken against adulterated ghee sellers, and a complaint has been filed at FDA

PUNE: An incident came to light on January 21, 2023, wherein adulterated ghee was caught at Katraj Gandharva Lawns in Pune. Following tests on this ghee, it has been reported that consuming it can cause death.

 

Social activist Santosh Sathe added that, ''These people are playing with the health of the citizens and request the state government, the central government, as well as the opposition parties to take concrete steps in this regard, or else we will stage a protest at the Pune District Collector Office as well as the Ministry Office in Mumbai next month.
