PUNE: An incident has come to light wherein the Baramati Agro Factory began manufacturing sugar prior to the date provided. In this case, an FIR has been registered against the Executive Director of the factory, Subhash J. Gulve, a resident of Shetfalgade Sugar Factory, Indapur Taluka. Sanjay Thakuji Gonde, (53), a resident of Koregaon Park, Pune, has lodged a complaint at Bhigwan police station in this regard.

According to the investigation report that the Upper Registrar of Co-operative Societies of Maharashtra State, Pune, submitted to the government on December 7, 2022, the Baramati Agro Shetfal, Indapur, started manufacturing sugar on October 10, 2022, before the timeline of October 15, 2022, in violation of the decision of the Committee of Ministers and the circular instructions dated September 22, 2022.

Due to the fact that the Baramati Agro Factory began manufacturing before October 15, 2022, without first obtaining a manufacturing licence, action has been taken against Subhash Gulve, executive director of the factory, according to a letter received from Sakhar Sankul, Shivaji Nagar, on March 6, 2023.
