Two women commit suicide in Pargaon and Kasurdi of Daund Taluka

PUNE: Two tragic incidents have come to light in Daund Taluka, wherein two women committed suicide in Pargaon and Kasurdi of the Daund Taluka.

In the first incident, the deceased woman has been identified as Yamuna Hanumant Karande. She plunged into a well to end her life in Pargaon, Daund Taluka. The woman's husband, Hanumant Chandrakant Karande, informed the Yavat Police about this incident. The police have registered an FIR for accidental death in her case.

In the second incident, a woman, Punam Tekawade (22), a resident of Kasurdi, committed suicide by hanging herself with the help of a sari at home. Laxman Bajaba Khenat has informed the Yavat Police about this incident. The actual reason behind the deaths of both the women's suicides is unknown. The Yavat Police are investigating in this matter further.
