PUNE: The BJP has been widely criticised for sending MP Girish Bapat to campaign in the Kasba byelection. Anand Dave, President of the Hindu Mahasangh, has informed that he will not campaign on behalf of the Hindu Mahasangh today because MP Girish Bapat was brought for campaigning despite being in poor health. With the elections around the corner, such a decision has been taken by the Hindu Mahasangh.

 

For the last few days, MP Girish Bapat has been ill, and all the party leaders have asked him to look after his health and take care. "However, as soon as they realised the BJP was in danger in Kasba Peth constituency, they directed MP Girish Bapat to campaign for the Kasba by-elections. I have decided not to campaign today as we are mentally disturbed that this is happening because of us," added Dave.
