Major breakthrough in Tardeo murder and robbery case: Mumbai police detains key suspect
MUMBAI: A special police investigation team, probing the murder of a 69-year-old woman and robbery at her Tardeo flat, is learnt to have detained the main suspect in Rajasthan. The suspect runs an eatery, said a police source.
According to police information, three unidentified robbers had barged into the house of a senior citizen couple, Surekha Agarwal (69) and her husband Madan Mohan Agarwal (75), early on Sunday morning. The trio tied the couple’s hands and legs with ropes and gagged them with adhesive tapes, resulting in the death of Surekha.
The senior citizen couple lived in a three-bedroom flat on the third floor of Yusuf Manzil.
