DCM Devendra Fadanvis interacts with MPSC students, their demands will be decided in cabinet today

PUNE: Thousands of MPSC students are protesting at the Alka Chowk in Pune demanding that the new syllabus of MPSC be implemented from 2025. These students have have held a telephonic discussion with the Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

As per the information received, the students will present this demand in Parliament today. A few days ago, the students of MPSC sat for more than 20 hours at the same Alka Chowk and protested for their demands. However, there is still a doubt as to whether the demands will be fulfilled. During an earlier protest, the Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and NCP supremo Sharad Pawar had also interacted with the students. This time, the students directly phoned Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis regarding the issues faced by the students. This time, he assured them that "the demand of students is valid and we will take a positive decision in the cabinet, today.  Following which, the students have said that "since these three leaders have assured us, we will also stop our agitation."
