Savitribai Phule Pune University initiates a high level inquiry committee into 'rap song' case spearheaded by former Director General of Police Dr. Jayant Umranikar
PUNE: Under the chairmanship of former Director General of Police Dr. Jayant Umranikar, the administration of Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has asked to constitute a high-level committee about the rap song.
Bageshree Manthalkar, Member of the Management Council of the University, Prasenjit Fadnavis, Member of the General Assembly, Distinguished Professor Retired Captain Chandrasekhar Chitale, Director of Lifelong Study and Extension Center Dr. Vilas Adhav and Deputy Chancellor Dr. Munjaji Rasve (Member Secretary) etc.
Karbhari Kale,
Vice-Chancellor, Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), has directed the committee to submit a report within a month after thoroughly investigating the matter.
