Luxury passenger bus rams into truck after tyre bursts on Mumbai-Bengaluru highway

PUNE: The tyre of a luxury passenger bus burst leading to an accident near Sarole village on the Satara to Pune stretch of the Mumbai-Bengaluru highway on Saturday. The 70-seater bus climbed the road divider and rammed into a logistics struck in the opposite lane. Many passengers were injured in the accident. Fortunately, there was no loss of life. 



According to the police, the bus climbed the road divider after the driver lost control. After the tyre burst, it rammed into a truck of NTC Logistics Courier company which was waiting for a fuel refill. The injured were shifted to a hospital by an ambulance. The officials of the Kikvi police chowky and patrolling staff of National Highway Authority of India carried out a panchnama and regularised the traffic.
