Tanker plows into 48 cars near Navle Bridge on the Pune-Bangalore highway

PUNE: A terrible accident took place on November 20, Saturday night, in the vicinity of the Navale Bridge on the Pune-Bangalore highway, wherein a huge tanker plowed into 48 cars. Apparently, the accident ensued due to the brake failure of said tanker.

In the course of this accident, four-wheelers and two-wheelers were also reported to have suffered a lot of damage.

As soon as the Sinhagad Police received information about the accident, they rushed to the spot and tried to assess the damage. According to preliminary information relayed at the time of filing this copy the cars collided with each other due to an impact of the tanker losing control due to brake failure.

At first glance there's an estimate of a huge loss of cars. However, the police have been moving aside the damaged vehicles in a bid to regulate the traffic.
