The State Irrigation department discharges a total of 3054 cusecs of water from Panshet Dam
PUNE: By increasing the discharge into the river from Panshet dam, the total discharge is 2504 cusecs at 6 pm, of which 1954 cusecs will be released through the spillway and 550 cusecs through the power plant, according to Y.S. Bhandalkar, Assistant Engineer, Category 1 Khadakwasla, Panshet and Varasgaon Projects.
The release from Khadakwasla Dam into the Mutha river basin is being increased to 6848 cusecs at 6 pm. Changes may be made according to the rainfall.
