Truck runs over pedestrian in Shirur taluka
SHIRUR: The Pune-Nagar highway is turning into a death trap. An incident has been reported wherein a pedestrian who was crossing the road was run over by a truck. The deceased has been identified as Kanhaiyalal Hastimal Firodia. The accident has been recorded on a CCTV camera.
The incident took place at Saradwadi in Shirur taluka. The video of the incident has gone viral on social media. The villagers have demanded that speed breakers should be installed immediately.
