Western Railway's AC local doors were not operational

MUMBAI: On Thursday afternoon, the Western Railway air-conditioned local trains caused inconvenience to the commuters as the doors of these trains weren't operational at eight stations. After informing the authorities, the officials of the Western Railways helped the passengers to board and disembark from the train.

The Churchgate- Virar AC local reached Andheri station through an unoperational door. The local's three doors were struggling to open.  Finally, the officials solved the technical issues. Even after that, the train got late because the issue reoccurred at Borivali, Dahisar, Mira Road, Bhayandar, Naigaon, Nalasopara, and Virar railway stations. The passengers were worried but railway officers helped them to exit and board the train.

"The door was not operational due to some technical error. We try to do our best and assure that no inconvenience is caused to the passengers," the officers said.
