PUNE: The Sindhi Premier League (SPL) Season 4, which is being organised to encourage players from Sindhi community and preserve the Sindhi culture and provide help to NGOs, was inaugurated. The inauguration ceremony was held at the Mrunal cricket ground at Pimpri in the presence of actor Tanju Virwani, who is well-known for his performance in web series ‘Inside Edge’. The opening match was between Sindhful Rangers and Pimpri Yodhas. This year, a dialysis machine was donated to NNP Care Foundation on behalf of the SPL. 

The cricket tournament will conclude on February 22. The live telecast is available on Sindhi Premier League, a YouTube channel. NNP Care Foundation’s Manohar Pherwani, Jawahar Kotwani, Gurumukh Sukhwani, Rishi Advani, businessman Ganesh Kudle, organizer Kanval Khiyani, Hitesh Dadlani, Kamal Jethani, Ankush Mulchandani, Naresh Nasha, Karan Aswani, Avi Tejwani, Avi Asrani, Kunal Gudela, Piyush Jethani were present. The children of the players also accompanied them. 

Many families enjoyed the matches. The SPL is important in inculcating the sporting culture among Sindhi youths and Sindhis should enjoy playing in the tournament, Tanuj Virwani said.
