Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) protests against the police brutality of sportspersons in New Delhi

PUNE: A massive rally was organised by the Pune City Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) at the Gopal Krishna Gokhale Chowk to protest against the assault and manhandling of international sportspersons by the Central Government Police during the inauguration of the new Parliament building in Delhi.


The protest in Pune, led by NCP City President Prashant Jagtap, witnessed sloganeering such as "Narendra Modi resign!", "Amit Shah resign!", "Brijbhushan Singh must be arrested!" 


Apart from Jagtap, Spokesman Pradeep Deshmukh, Ravindra Malvadkar, Pramit Gore, Rupesh Sant, Anjali Lotke, Alim Sheikh Rupali Bibwe, Ajay Pawar, Payal Chavan, Bhakti Kumhar, Rishikesh Kadu, Gajanan Londhe and many wrestlers and sportsmen were also present on the occasion.
