PUNE: It has come to light that 24 persons have been defrauded out of approximately ₹13.83 crores under the promise of receiving attractive Returns On Investment (ROI). An FIR has been registered against six accused at the Chhatushringi Police Station under Sections 3 and 4 of the Maharashtra Depositors' Interests and Financial Fraud Act, 1999. This crime has taken place since 2019.
The accused have been identified as Prashant Zade, s resident of Ambernath, Thane, Rohan Matale, Sandesh Ganpat Khamkar, a resident of Nasik, Jayant Ramchandra Bandekar, a resident of Mumbai, Kamlesh Mahadevrao Oze, and others from AS Agri and Aqua LLP. In this matter, Subodh Jamnalal Goenka (63), a resident of resident of Gahunje, Pune has lodged a complaint with the police against the accused.
According to the police, the concerned accused conspired with AS Investing through Agri & Aqua LLP agriculture firm by promising huge returns.
