"Our government makes quick decisions!" — Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra

PUNE: "This government is known to make quick decisions!" quipped Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis as a rebuttal to the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi leader Prakash Ambedkar's advice to Uddhav Thackeray to leave the (Maha Vikas Aghadi MVA).


The DCM was addressing a media gaggle in Pune. On the occasion, he touched upon many topics.  "Between 2001 and 2011, the state government has decided to give houses to slum dwellers for  ₹2.5 lakh instead of free houses. After 2000,it was not possible to give free housing to slum dwellers. Therefore, it was decided to give houses for ₹2.50 lakhs."  Fadnavis added, "We have done what the opposition could not do in two-and-a-half years! This is a government that makes fast decisions."
