Work at the passport offices in the state come to a grinding halt, along with Pune, passport offices at Parbhani, Amravati, Goa and Gujarat were hit by the tech glitch too

PUNE: The passport offices in Pune, Goa and Gujarat came to a grinding halt on Monday courtesy of a technical glitch in the server. Apart from the Pune passport office, work in Parbhani, Amravati, Goa and Gujarat hit the brakes for a while too.  Around 2pm, the services were restored after the technical glitch was fixed. Due to this unprecedented technical failure, citizens who had an appointment at the passport offices on Monday were affected.  However, it has been informed by the Passport Seva Support that they have been given an alternate appointment for Tuesday.
