"₹10 lakh assistance to the family of deceased Govinda, Sandesh Salvi." — Chief Minister Eknath Shinde

MUMBAI: Chief Minister Eknath Shinde announced a compensation of ₹10 lakh to the family of a 23-year-old Sandesh Dalvi, a member of Shiv Shambhu Govinda squad, who succumbed to his injuries during the Dahi Hand celebrations on Janmasthami.


He also informed that the Mumbai Municipal Commissioner Chahal has been asked to appoint a nodal officer for the injured Govindas and pay special attention to the injured.
