PUNE: An incident has come to light wherein a drunk man allegedly assaulted his wife with a fish cutter for not preparing a mutton dish at home. This incident took place at Yerawada, and later it was revealed that he also assaulted his parents in a drunken stupor. A complaint has been lodged against the husband at Yerawada police station.

The accused has been identified as Sandeep Vishnu More (33). His 29-year-old wife has lodged a complaint with Yerawada police. This incident took place on May 28 and 29 in the vicinity of Subhash Nagar, Yerawada.

As per the information provided by the police, the accused, Sandeep More, is addicted to alcohol. That day, he came home drunk late at night. He then abused his wife and his parents, saying, ''Why did you make another vegetable instead of mutton?'' Later, he attacked his wife’s head with a fish cutter. The woman was seriously injured in the assault and is undergoing treatment at a hospital.
