Young woman dupes youth out of ₹11 lakhs, an FIR has been registered against three, including the unknown woman

PUNE: It has come to light that a youth fell for the scam of a young woman who promised to help him procure a job in the hospitality sector over a phone call and lost ₹11 lakhs after he allegedly invested the money online. An FIR has been registered at Chinchwad Police Station against three, including the girl. This incident took place between May 10, 2023 and May 25, 2033.  

  

The victim has been identified as Ganesh Mukund Amritkar (28), a resident of Keshav Nagar in Chinchwad. While the unknown girl who lured and cheated him has been identified simply as Payal. Incidentally, she worked with two more accomplices who possessed unknown mobile phone numbers. An FIR has been registered at Chinchwad Police Station against Payal (full name not known), owner of CS Channel 113, Travel Ka Top website and owner of an unknown mobile number. 


According to the police information, Amritkar was contacted by a young woman named Payal and given the task of rating the hotel on the pretext of paying commission through a Telegram group on CS Channel 113 and the website Travel ka Top.  In order to gain his trust, they issued refunds to the complainant and thereby forcing him to pay the money. Thus he was defrauded of a total amount of ₹11 lakhs.
