Meera Bhayander Municipal Commissioner's appointment case goes to Bombay High Court

MUMBAI: The case of the appointment of Meera Bhayander Municipal Commissioner has gone to the Bombay High Court. The appointment of Dilip Dhole in the absence of the IAS has been challenged in the High Court. In this case, the state government may be in trouble.


Dhole was appointed when Urban Development Minister Eknath Shinde was in the Mahavikas Aghadi government. In this case, a petition has been filed in Bombay High Court against Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
