Accused threatens victim with increased interest, demands ransom

BARAMATI: An FIR of extortion has been registered at the Baramati City Police Station against one Sachin Gyandev Dhawale, a resident of Shirur, Pune.


As per the information received from the Baramati City Police, apparently, even after recovering the interest of ₹2.5 lakh on a loan amount of ₹50,000, the accused further demanded a ransom by threatening the plaintiff with an increased interest. One Sharda Sushil Lalbige, a resident of Baramati has filed a complaint in this matter.
