Airport police arrests barber for sexually assaulting a seven-year- old boy

PUNE: The Airport Police arrested a barber who sexually assaulted a seven-year-old boy who had gone to a salon for a haircut near Lohegaon Air Force Station. The incident took place on Tuesday. The accused has been identified as one Sajjan Sahealam Salmani (20), a resident of Lohegaon, Pune.


The police said the victim's mother had returned home for work and left him for a haircut at a nearby salon for a haircut. The barber took advantage of the fact that the minor boy was alone in the salon at that time and assaulted him sexually. The boy was scared because of this incident. However, told his parents about it after going home. 


A further investigation is being carried out by Assistant Police Inspector N Pathak of the Airport Police Station.
