PIMPRI: A shocking incident has come to light in Bhosari, Pimpri Chinchwad, wherein a journalist working for a web portal allegedly kidnapped his female friend. She had been reported missing since the alleged incident. Interestingly, the scribe himself lodged a Missing Person's Complaint at the Bhosari Police Station. Alerted by his suspicious behaviour, the police questioned him. Later, during the questioning, he confessed that he had murdered his friend.

The Bhosari Police have arrested the journalist in this matter and registered an FIR against him. The accused has been identified as one Ramdas Popat Tambe (30), a resident of Dighi, Bhosari and a native resident of Tambewadi, Takli Manur, Taluka Pathardi, Ahmednagar. While the deceased has been identified as Chandra Simanchal Muni (28), a resident of Odisha.
