PUNE: Allegedly a gang assaulted a food vendor who asked them to pay for a burger they consumed. A complaint was filed at the Mundhwa Police Station. Subsequently, based on the complaint, an FIR has been registered against the accused. 

The accused have been identified as Ajay Pawar, Adinath Gaikwad, and Ajit Hake— all three are residents of BT Kawade Road, Ghorpadi. One Nikhil Gangadhar Banakar (32), a resident of Ghorpadi Village, has lodged a complaint at Mundhwa Police Station. 

According to the police, Banakar has a restaurant called Pizza Tones on BT Kawade Road. The accused — Pawar, Gaikwad, and Hake — visited the restaurant and placed an order for burgers. After having a burger, Banakar asked them to pay the bill and that's when all hell broke loose. Apparently, the accused not only assaulted Banakar but they also allegedly threatened him and stole ₹800 from his person. 

Police Sub-Inspector Bhosale is investigating this case further.
