PUNE: Kothrud police arrested a CA from Kothrud who blackmailed a 50-year-old woman working in the office and raped her for three consecutive years. An FIR has been registered against him at the Yerawada police station. This entire incident happened between 2019 and 2022. A 50-year-old woman has lodged a complaint in this regard.

Aniruddha Satish Sheth (42), a resident of Kanchanganga Homes, Dahanukar Colony, Kothrud is a CA. He owns an office in Kothrud area. The plaintiff woman was working in his office. So two of them knew each other very well.  In March 2019, Aniruddha Sheth took the plaintiff woman to Bhugaon on the excuse of showing the flat to the client. After arriving at the flat at Bhugaon, the accused fed the victim a pastry with a drug in it, which put her into a lull, after which he forcibly tried to have physical relations with her.

He repeatedly had a forcible relationship with her and threatened the plaintiff by recording a video of the incident. This incident took place in hotels in Mumbai, Pune, Alibaug and Maharashtra housing colony in Yerawada.
