Notorious gangster attacks youth, woman and two others, arrested

PUNE: A notorious gangster, who was angry for being denied money to buy liquor, assaulted a youth, his wife and two others with a sickle. The youth was seriously injured. The incident happened at Sadesatranali. The accused has been arrested. The injured has been identified as Akshay Bhosle (27), a resident of Sadesatranali. Bapu Suresh Makwan (21), a resident of Sadesatranali, has been identified as the deceased.

Bhosle was talking with his friends Krishna Jethimal and Jadhav. Makwan came there and demanded money to buy liquor. Bhosle refused to give money and Makwan assaulted Bhosle and his friend with a sickle. When Bhosle’s wife tried to intervene, she was also beaten up. PSI CC Thorbole is investigating the incident.
