Police apprehend gang that steal vehicles from elite housing colonies
PUNE: The police have arrested a gang of people stealing two-wheelers and four-wheelers in Yerawada, Shastrinagar, Kharadi, Hadapsar and other areas. Vehicles worth ₹15 lakhs have been seized from them. The arrested have been identified as Saadhan Devidas Rathod (25), Prakash Shriram Adhav (30) and Akash Baban Dhotre (26), all residents of Talegaon Dhamdhere.
The crime branch had received information that this gang was stealing vehicles from an elite housing colonies. Accordingly, under the guidance of Senior Police Inspector Sunil Padharkar, the team of Vinond Padvi, Uday Kalbhor, and Rajesh Abhage laid a trap and arrested these accused.
