Police arrests youth for raping friend in Karve Nagar
PUNE: An incident has come to light wherein a girl who had gone to her friend’s house for a party, was raped while she was in a semi conscious state. The police have arrested Swapnil Thange (24). The incident took place in a building in Karve Nagar.
According to the police, the 20-year-old girl had gone to her friend’s house for a party. There were other people also in the flat. When she was in a semi conscious state after consuming alcohol, a youth took her to the gallery and sexually assaulted her. After the girl lodged a complaint, the police have arrested Thange.
