Police register First Information Report against youth for submitting false information to procure arms licence

PUNE: An FIR has been registered against a youth at the Sahakar Nagar police station for submitting false information for securing an arms licence.

The accused has been identified as Prasad Pradeep Konde (30), a resident of Jagdish Society, Dhankawadi. Police Naik Mahadev Nale has lodged a complaint. According to the police, citizens submit applications at the police commissionerate to seek arms licence. Konde had also submitted an application. He had mentioned in his affidavit that no complaint was registered against him.

Konde had suppressed information about complaints against him. An FIR has been registered against him for trying to procure an arms licence by submitting fake information.
