Sinhagad Police arrests driver for hitting 48 vehicles in Pune
PUNE: The Sinhagad police have arrested the driver who was absconding after the accident at Navle bridge. The arrested accused driver has been identified as Maniram Yadav and has been detained from Nanekarwadi, Chakan.
For the unversed, on Sunday, the said driver was driving his tanker on a slope in neutral, and he did not hit the brakes in time. What resulted from this act was pure horror and unmitigated terror ashe hit around 48 vehicles and approximately 50 people were injured in the ensuing accident.
The police have managed to track down and arrest the truck driver.
