PIMPRI-CHINCHWAD: The Anti-Dacoity Squad of the Crime Branch of the Pimpri Chinchwad Police has raided a gambling den and during this raid Dehu Sansthan Trustee Santosh Gulab More, Vishal Keshav More, Dehu Nagar Panchayat Corporator Aditya Chintamani Tilekar and the husband of a political office-bearer have been caught.  

The police arrested a total of 26 people and have confiscated two cars, 18 two-wheelers, mobile phones worth approximately ₹35.11 lakh.

The arrested accused have been identified as 

Shekhar Gulab Parandwad (50), a resident of Dehugaon, Vishal Pratapsinh Pardeshi, Santosh Keshav Tilekar, Santosh Shantaram Kaduskar, Vishal Popat Kalokhe, Maruti Bhimaji Walunj, Amit Amrit Nalavde, Anil Nagnath Waghmare, Vinayak Vikrant Gade, Sandeep Ranganath Awad, Rahul Gulab  Yewle, Vishwas Dattu Bhingardive, Rahul Subhash Kurhade, Vijay Gopal Podwal, Amol Yuvraj Borse, Mayur Chandramani Ghanwat, Yogesh Keshav More, Sachin Bapu Kharat, Navnath Dashrath Tilekar, Appa Balu Lokhande, Mohammad Dawood Syed, Mohan Sahadu Lokhande, Bharat Nanasaheb.

Police Constable Dnyandev Bankar of the Anti-Dacoity Squad of the Pimpri-Chinchwad Police has filed a complaint at the Mhalunge Police Station.

According to the police, the Anti-Dacoity Squad received information that a gambling den was being run on the second floor of SHEPL Heavy Industrial Fabrication Limited located between the Dehugaon to Yelawadi road.  

The said gambling den was raided in the wee hours of Wednesday following the orders of senior police officials.
