Three/four youths fire at youth in Bopdev Ghat
PUNE: Three to four people fired at a youth who was riding pillon on a bike being driven by his friend from Bopdev Ghat with a pistol. The youth was injured and is undergoing treatment. The police suspect that the firing took place as a result of a land purchase and sale dispute. The police have started investigation by considering that angle.
The victim has been identified as Asif Khan (33), a resident of Kondhwa. Asif has a business of buying and selling land. He and his friend were on their way to Bopdev Ghat on his bike on early this morning. At that point, the accused approached him from behind, fired at him, and ran away. Assistant Police Inspector Anil Survase is investigating the further case.
