PUNE: A horrific road accident took place at Bibvewadi wherein a woman and her six-year-old daughter  died in a horrific road accident as a speeding dumper truck run over them. The accident took place on Wednesday evening around 6:30pm. An FIR  has been registered against the dumper truck driver.

The deceased road accident victims have been identified as Rupali Kalpesh Bora (30) and Garima Kalpesh Bora (6), both residents of Bibvewadi.  The arrested dumper truck driver has been identified as one Rahul Jadhav (30), a resident of Ambegaon Pathar. 

As per police reports, six-year-old Garima was being dropped off to her badminton class on Satara Road by her mother Rupali. Suddenly a speeding  dumper truck, en route from Gangadham Chowk towards Bibvewadi, hit their two-wheeler, knocking them off the bike. On impact, the mother-daughter duo fell on the road and the rear wheel of the dumper truck ran over them, killing them instantly. 

The police have arrested the errant driver of the dumper truck, Rahul Jadhav. An FIR has been registered against him.
