17 year-old boy threatens to kill 14 year-old girl with a sickle, forcing her to accept his proposal of friendship

PUNE: A complaint has been registered against a 17-year-old boy who threatened a 14-year-old girl, saying that if you do not befriend me, I will kill you using this sickle. When this girl was returning from class in Hadapsar, this boy approached her and chased her, saying, "Will you be friends with me?" In the last 15 days, she was stopped and threatened with being killed if she didn't accept his proposal of friendship.

But the young girl was afraid and did not inform her parents of the same. Finally, after she told her parents about this matter, they took action and lodged a complaint at Hadapsar Police Station. A complaint has been registered by the police under various sections of POCSO, molestation, and intimidation against the minor boy. Further investigation is being conducted by the Hadapsar Police.
