Youth teaches lesson to mobile thieves in Kasba Peth

PUNE: A youth who was going to visit Shaniwarwada was robbed of his mobile by three persons but when they were running away, the youth chased them and apprehended them, and handed them over to the police. The Faraskhana police have arrested the three accused including two Nepali nationals.



The accused have been identified as Keshav Ganesh Kathair (22), Krishna Tulbhadur Zarga (34), both residing on footpath, Shaniwarwada and hailing from Nepal and Alex Vannivami (23), a resident of footpath, Shaniwarwada and hailing from Nagaland. Saheb Milan Mallik, a resident of Hadapsar, has lodged a complaint with the police.      



The complainant was going to visit Shaniwarwada. When he was passing by Gadital Putala Chowk in Kasba Peth, he was stopped by the accused. They forcefully took away his mobile. When the complainant tried to resist, they beat him up and started running away. However, the complainant chased them and caught them at Pavle Chowk, Kasba Peth. 



Police officials from Faraskhana police station went to the spot and apprehended them. The police have seized the mobile from them.
